A rider must participate in 50% of the races in the series in order to be eligible for the Series Award.
7 = Total races in the Series
4 = Minimum number of races required to qualify for the Series
5 = Total Best Finishes counted for the Series
2010 Elko Speedway Motocross sound testing standards enforced at AMA levels (99 dB/a). We will be randomly testing bikes during practice to ensure compliance with sound rules. Bikes that are found not to be in compliance will be giving the opportunity to get in compliance before the race starts.

Mini Quad Production Engine size up to 90cc 2 stroke, up to 125cc 4-stroke. Liquid cooled & Air cooled allowed. Must remain an Auto Shift or Auto Clutch transmission, does not allow for Manuel clutch or Direct drive. Allows for any modification that bolts-on. But must retain the stock OEM frame matched to OEM Engine from the approved list. Can modify engine work, suspension, ect., but you can not go over cc limits. Must have tether switch. Age limit: 6-15 years old. Approved machines: May use any approved Mini Quad Stock Machine & modify for this class. Cobra 70 & 90, Apex Pro MX 70 & 90, Xtreme Typhoon 125 4 stroke, LEM.
50cc Open 4-8 yrs, up to 60cc

1. No membership, AMA or District cards required.
2. Helmets must be worn at all times when riding.
3. A Referee and Race Coordinator will be at each race event and must be treated with respect at all times.
4. 5 MPH maximum in the pit area (to and from your pit ONLY) at all times and push your bike to the track start area. Repeated violations of this rule will force us to go to a push-only policy.
5. DO NOT ride on the service road. Stay on the track at all times and do not cut the course to do a section or a jump – it is very dangerous to other riders to jump back on the track from the side. Riding off the track also causes dust that can be a major problem.
6. All Waivers and Release forms must be signed prior to participating in the race event or entering the pit area.
7. IMPORTANT: Minors participating must have a Minor Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian at time of sign-up OR must have a NOTARIZED release form with them the day of the event – NO EXCEPTIONS. Forms can be notarized prior to day of event. Download the form and print in color.
8. A riders age is determine as of the date of the event.
9. Only the racer and 1 mechanic will be allowed on the track during the race event. Mechanic will not be allowed outside of the Mechanic’s area after the gate drops. Any mechanic or guest of a rider that steps onto the track from the pits will result in rider disqualification – NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. Parents please note: In case of injury, an ambulance crew is on site and will assess the situation. All precautions will be taken. If a serious injury has occurred we will stop the race and you will the first person notified of the situation.
11. Any guest that jumps the spectator fence will result in rider disqualification from the race – NO EXCEPTIONS.
12. Transponders will be required for race series scoring and will be available to rent at the facility.
13. Wristbands are required at all times for Race and Pits Entry. Loss of wristband will result in repurchase.
14. Disrespectful treatment of any Elko Speedway employee or guests will result in disqualification of you/your rider and you will be asked to leave the facility.
15. Paying admission and participating in the race event deems acceptance of the above rules by rider, rider guests and spectators.
16. Laps will be determine before the riders meeting with a minimum of 3 laps for 50cc classes, 4 laps for Youth classes, 5 laps for Amateur classes and 7 laps for Pro classes. We reserve the right to change laps for any reason.
17. All amateur classes race for trophies, plaques and/or medals.
18. All Pros race for cash payback.
19. Points are final 20 minutes after they are posted at the event. It is the rider's responsibility to check that the results are correct.
20. If you ride a Pro Class, you cannot race a trophy class.

22. We follow AMA rules when not mentioned above.
23. No Alcohol in the pits and no Alcohol consumption allowed by any riders during the race event. Wristbands will be cut at time of serving for anyone of legal age wishing to consume alcohol.
24. You may pick any number for your bike; we do not pick it for you. We will require a letter designator for duplicate numbers.

27. You're in charge of the people in your pit. If we have a problem, it is you that gets disqualified and/or asked to leave.
28. If a rider Does Not Start (does not cross the starting gate) of the Main Event, he/she will receive no points for the race. If a rider does cross the starting gate of the Main Event; but cannot complete a lap, he/she must report this to the Referee, in order to receive last place points. This rider must be prepared to verify their start with the Starter or other witnesses.
29. Rain check Policy: In the event of the race day being cut short due to weather, rainchecks will be issued to the riders who did not race their heats. If the heat is finished, that heat will count as the main event.
FLAG RULES
YELLOW – caution. When a yellow flag is displayed, competitors must ride cautiously until they have passed the incident that caused the flag. In motocross when a yellow flag is displayed there is no passing or jumping between the flag and the incident that caused the yellow flag. Failure to do so may result in the rider being docked from one finishing position all the way to disqualification from the event, subject to the referee’s discretion.
WHITE with RED CROSS/Ambulance – indicates that ambulances, safety vehicles or emergency personnel are on the course. EXERCISE caution. In motocross, Arenacross, etc. should this flag (red cross) be displayed, riders will slow down, maintain position with no passing or jumping until past the incident. Failure to do so may result in the rider being docked by one finishing position up to disqualification from the event, subject to the referee's discretion.
RED – Stoppage of a race for any emergency situation or other reason.
WHITE – One lap to go until finish.
BLACK AND WHITE CHECKERED – End of race.

Motorsports are inherently dangerous, ride at your own risk.
If you do not have Medical Insurance or do not feel comfortable riding under these terms, do not ride.
Check the track before practice--consider your ability to negotiate it. If you are not comfortable, get a refund immediately BEFORE practice starts.
