Hello all...

It's now been a few days since the staff at Elko Speedway had the pleasure of hosting the 2009 Dirt Nationals and we all wanted to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who either competed or attended during the four night program.

 

Self admittedly, we have a few challenges during the weekend, but your patience and understanding with us and our staff was appreciated. For a lot of you, it was your first time at our facility..we hope you will visit us again in the near future.

 

Once again, THANK YOU for making the 2009 Dirt Nationals at Elko Speedway a roaring success. Look for a bigger and better event in 2010.

Our 17 year old son races Hornets at Golden Spike and occassionally Willmar.  We decided it would be fun to check out Elko's Dirt nationals.  My husband raced at Elko in the late 70's and early 80's so we were excited to check out the track after so many years.  We were met by a great staff - from the pit gate to the tech guys to the gals in the tech area.  Everyone was friendly and willing to help.  Another surprise were the other Hornet drivers.  What a great bunch of guys (& Gal)!  They too made it a point to come and say hello and made sure we knew the routine throughout the night. A few even asked Andy for some tips about dirt racing!  We have never received that kind of welcome at ANY track.  Please thank the Hornet drivers for us - as well as your staff.  Your track facilities are amazing & you have a program you can all be proud of!" - Larry, Kathy & Andy Siegler
