The Great North Legends Cars at Elko Speedway are 5/8-scale replicas of classic 1930s and 1940s coupes and sedans—small in size, but big in speed and excitement. Powered by motorcycle engines and built by U.S. Legend Cars International, these spec cars ensure close, competitive racing where driver skill makes all the difference.
Legends are one of Elko’s most popular divisions, offering wheel-to-wheel action and often three- or four-wide battles on the tight 3/8-mile oval. Because they’re identical in design, the focus is on pure driving ability, making it a perfect training ground for young racers moving up the ranks as well as seasoned veterans who love the challenge.
